The Solar Jackets welcomes involvement from students of all majors, experienced or not. We hold meetings regularly, fill out our signup form or just check the calendar for time and location.

The team’s multi-disciplinary efforts on the solar car project closely resemble a real-world, modular approach to an engineering project; the students’ expertise spans engineering and business disciplines, forming 9 distinct design teams that each tackle an individual component or system of the car while collaborating regularly with the other sub-teams. We also invite faculty, alumni, and industry mentors to join our efforts!
